Working 75+ hours a week you discover many things about the world around you. For instance, you realize that McDonald's is a downright liar.
The Mackers off the 405 in El Segundo has signs everywhere that advertises itself as a 24-hour establishment. Why, then, was the drive-thru closed when I tried to go there Friday night? According to the man cleaning the sidewalk, it's closed every morning from 3-3:30. Um, yeah, 24 hours minus 30 minutes doesn't equal 24 hours. That's only 23 and a half.
